Tour de Parsonage


The Parsonage: 100 years old, white 2-story, 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, mudroom, kitchen, dining/living room, and the office...which I love to call the office...if only Dwight sat next to me...my blog posts would be so much more interesting...but I am off subject. Again.



Our home is what I like to call cozy. You can't lose anyone it it...even when you might want to. The space issue has helped me to simplify the decorating process. Only stuff that I really love was given the option of living here.



Let the party begin.




The retro white tree actually has presents under it this year. Usually they're hidden upstairs in the closet until Christmas Day...but this year I decided that since I have direct view of the tree from the office I should keep the presents in view...safer that way.






Stockings hung on the mantle shelf with care...







These trees sit on top of my fridge...I think they're adorable.







This tree sits in Noah & Eli's room. It is filled with the felt ornaments that Ben's grandma made for him each year growing up.







And the real reason for all of it...and I'm not just talking about Christmas.



And last but not least, the Christmas card...minus our last name *wink*

    Love your retro style! You know how you said only if Dwight was here? Do you like him best or is it that you'd take over for Jim and torture him? I personally want to sit by Jim and help with his jokes, ala Pam or Oscar. Didn't Andy say Oscar smells really good??

    your family is precious! I love the trees on the top of the fridge. I don't have a nativity yet (this is my first real grown up Christmas) and I need one soo bad. Love yours!

    OK, so um, WHEN are you planning on coming down here and showing me how to decorate my itty bitty space???

    I LOVE the stockings on the shelf idea and I'm totally stealing it next year. My plan this year was to get some 3M hooks and stick them on the wall.

    And I never thought about decorating the top of my fridge! Those trees are adorable!

    We all love your card! I just put the the ones from the past two years up on the fridge. Hmmmmm do I replace one or add too it?!! They are all so nice!

    aww i have the same nativity but my Joseph is missing an arm---dang hardwood floors!! I have tried everything super glue hot glue gorilla glue---nothin works :( LOVED LOVED your card!!!!

    I grew up in a parsonage - - - three of them to be exact!! Maybe we could swap stores sometime about living in the fish bowl.
