- Christmas was good...pictures to come...when I find my camera.
- The weather here is making me CRAZY. I won't get into it.
- I am going to re-paint every surface in my home until it feels like I am in sunshiny California or somewhere WARM.
- I'm off to work on that now...oh wait, that's right, it's sleeting/freezing rain here so I cannot leave my home. Again.
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. *insert weeping and gnashing of teeth*
Think the weather's getting to me? Someone needs a tropical vacation...or at least some vitamin D. *smile*

I won't tell you it's going to be 76 here today. Albeit rainy.
Oh, I hear ya! It's be raining/snowing/sleeting then melting and freezing again for the past 1 1/2 weeks. We were going to drive an hour to Boise today so I could FINALLY try the salted caramel hot chocolate at Starbucks that you mentioned. Guess what...the roads are bad and it's snowing, again. Maybe next week. Enjoy painting when you get around to it, and Merry Christmas!

ReplyDeleteWe are headed home today. Maybe next week we can take off in our 4 wheel drive and buy some sunny paint! I can't wait until we are painting at my house!!!! should be able to begin in a little over a month!!!
ReplyDeleteI hear ya with the weather blues! We are experiancing 60 degree temps and the 14 inches of snow we had outside is making my yard into a swamp! You always seem to get our weather one day ahead so I will brace myself for the freezing rain! Don't you just hate global warming! :S *wink*

You could have our weather...15 degress one day and 65 the next. We are looking at possible tornados...love that deep south winter.

ReplyDeleteHave you seen that painting tool that's shaped like an iron? It's supposedly does rooms in like, 10 seconds with no taping. I might be exaggerating a little, but not much. I'd like one of them. Or one of you to paint my house.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry. You are welcome to come a little south to Oklahoma. We have been having beautiful sunny weather. The hi temp on Christmas day was 73! Today was a little cooler but beautiful!

I hate this weather too! Of course, I will not complain because I am escaping, and we would be more than happy to take you, you'll have to work it out with my dad :)
ReplyDeleteTry putting sun lamps all over the house and sit under for an hour at a time. It'll lift your spirits and you'll get a tan!

Sunny Calli is also pretty cold right now, with rain & grey-ness, depressing. But it's not snow & sleet & I am sorry for your plight! My parents in WA are also snowed in & had to miss part of Christmas with kids. Try to get cozy with those cute boys of yours!
ReplyDeleteWhen stranded inside a person is a caged animal. If it were a day where we just didn't feel like going out, fine. We stay home in the pj's and enjoy it. But if we CAN'T go out...AAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!

wow, it sounds terrible there!!! I better not tell you Jedd and I went running together today OUTSIDE! my first OUTSIDE run! And ummmm... it was 72 degrees today....yep. 72!!! I am in SUCH a happy place! the rest of the week the high is in the 50s and I will still be blissfully happy... ahh....opps...I hope you don't hate me now....*smile* you could have just come with me! he he!

ReplyDeleteWe had to turn on the AC last week. At Christmas. In December. Talk about depressing! Who celebrates Christmas in shorts? Us, apparently, but not me. I drew the line at 3/4 sleeves.
