I looked up from the computer yesterday to see Jake, holding a pair of scissors and standing over Odie.
Never a good thing.
See those spots? It's missing hair. Fortunately, Odie was in his usual state of unconsciousness on the couch, so he was totally unaware of what Jakob was doing to him.
When Odie awoke, I tried to explain to him that Jake was in big trouble, and that the hair will grow back...and that it doesn't look so bad.
But I don't think he believed me.
Sorry Odie. :)
It's so hard to keep up with them! Especially with out the older sibs only too willing to tatle! Our little trouble maker is with his grandma for a couple of days, I am off to make a big dent in packing!
ReplyDeletepoor little odie =P
ReplyDeleteAs always, love hair and I think the outfit below it TOTALLY YOU!
thanks for the smiles today. I needed them.
poor guy!
ReplyDeleteps...love your couch...i have one in the same pattern/color!
Better the dog's hair than his own hair:) Good thing you have such a good natured dog.
ReplyDeletePoor Odie but it could have been worse. You could have woke up from a nap and had your hair cut off. :)
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw the title I thought you were the one with a bad haircut from yesterday. Whew... now that would be bad (and impossible).
ReplyDeleteat least it wasn't his own hair:-)
ReplyDeleteI'm with Candy ... at least it wasn't his own hair!! :)
ReplyDeleteOdie is the epitome of how I feel today.
ReplyDeleteYou are so funny!
ReplyDeleteAnd I am insanely jealous of Odie's lazy life. Dogs have it so good.
Like I told Heth when Jack cut Gemma's could have been an ear---easily could have been an ear!! :)
ReplyDeletePoor dog. He's cute though, even with his bald spots.
ReplyDeleteAs much as I feel for little odie, I was honestly glad to see your post today!! Ha-ha... My middle daughter, has on at least 3 occasions given hair cuts to our black lab, the cat, and her little sister!!! LOL
ReplyDeleteIt's great to know my kids arent the only one's giving out free hair cuts!!
~Mandie
I was so afraid you were the victim of the bad hair cut! You did say you were getting it cut yesterday, right?
ReplyDeleteIt's so cute that Odie didn't even flinch when Jake cut his fur. That's one patient tolerant pup! Heehee!
ReplyDeleteIs Odie an ultra-right-wing-wacko-CHRISTIAN-Conservative??
ReplyDelete'cause -- (*jeepers!!*)... the poor creature looks like I feel toay.
:-(
The Obamamaniacs came after me with scissors in the night and I didn't even know what happened until I read your enlightening post. THANK YOU! I now know who to blame...
OMGosh! I needed that laugh! Thank you ;)
ReplyDeleteHa! Yesterday you were getting a hair cut so I thought this post was a sad lament about one of those awful expereinces in a salon! Whew! At least his is far enough away he may never notice.
ReplyDeleteIt could have been worse - there could have been blood with those scissors! The dog could be missing an ear or something - hair grows back and it looks like odie is pretty much in a comatose state anyway!!
ReplyDeleteHAHA!!! My son did the same thing to our long- haired daschund when he was about 5. Poor dog never did get his hair back! LOL
ReplyDeleteHaha! Gotta love what a little boy will do with a pair of scissors.
ReplyDeletei meant to tell you this the other day and totally forgot!
ReplyDeletewe watched the hulk (new one) the other night and i kept thinking liv tyler looks so familiar to me and about half way through the movie i was like.... sarah! you totally look like liv tyler with short hair!
This post cracked me up!! What canines endure with families. Perfect name for your four-legged friend!
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed he slept through it! Jakob must be a gentle hair stylist - can I book him?! :P
ReplyDeleteI tagged you for a meme, btw!
Hey legging girl ... I mentioned you in a video I just put up. Come check it out.
ReplyDeleteSorry to Odie.
