Crack me up.
I asked him if his teacher knew what a blog was, he said "yeah, kinda...I explained it to her."
So I asked him to explain it to me...and he smiled and told me he "couldn't remember what he said."
Oh how I'd love to hear his explanation that he's now too shy to tell me:)
How funny is that!! That's one for the treasure chest. Laminate that bad boy b/c it's a keeper. :)

ReplyDeleteMy 4 year old will sometimes say, "Hey mom, wanna put this on your blog?" or he'll walk up the laptop and say, "wanna get some more comments? I can get you 4 comments watch, and he'll type the keys" :-)
Just wait till he starts saying Twitter, avatar, YouTube, etc. It's not far off!

How creative of your son to know how to use a word not even in the 'word bank' at the bottom of the page! I'm sure you are very proud of him. And...he was apparently thinking of you at school, so you've still got some cool going for you. :)
ReplyDeleteHe even associated the word "blog" with the "og" family because it's not even listed in the word bank. What a smart guy!
ReplyDeleteand blog wasn't even on the word bank...hilarious. my kids will do something funny or crazy and automatically say...are ya gonna put that on your blog. hmm, what's that tell me? so in answer to your next post on my "do not blog" list...i have a feeling they would love to put in their 2 cents!
ReplyDeleteMan, that worksheet was behind the times-- not even to have blog as an option!
