Today I am thankful:
- That last night at VBS we had somewhere between 40-50 kids...which considering all tiny town has endured recently is frankly, AMAZING!
- For a great week at VBS and still thankful it's coming to a close ;)
- That I do not have to work outside my home...because I could not do it without losing my mind...obviously, God knew that :)
- for Sponge Bob entertaining my kids long enough for me to enjoy a sweet reprise from the bickering! Oh the bickering...
- For the wonderful stuff you all come up with that totally encourages and makes me smile.
- And that ya'll actually come back to read my ramblings...and COMMENTS! I so love comments...I do, I do, I do.
- My coffee...Heavens sweet nectar...which I need to go to Starbucks and get some more of...brewed my last pot today.
- that although there are weeds all over my "flowers" and my house is a mess...I do not care. For now...
- Bullet points. Need I say more?
- For God's patience with me. That His love for me is not based on how I do...but just the fact that I am His.

ReplyDeleteI am thankful that I finally removed my weeds! It was at least a month over due! I can finally see my flowers again. But although my house was clean yesterday Little People have taken over my living room! Oh well!

I was exhausted after our week of VBS! It was a few weeks ago. I really enjoyed it, but we averaged 80 kids each night - basically boiling down to chaos. :) I know Trish always gets really into it, then feels like she needs a LONG nap (probably like a week long) afterwards.

ReplyDeleteSpongeBob has not been entertaining to my boys lately - hmmmm could there be such a thing as SpongeBob burn out - oh please tell me that can't happen. I do so love that 1/2 hour of quiet!

Ahhh...Starbucks. Since I am in the Northwest Starbucks is like...well, water. Necessary for survival. I usually get to go once a week with a group of gals from church after Wed. services. I so look forward to that! Coffee and friends. Could it get any better?

ReplyDeleteOne more day of VBS left... I've been thinking of you... ours is in the morning, so we have to leave the house by 8:00 am to get there in time to drop the kids off and get to my station. It has been so exhausting, but so fun too. I'm thankful for the chance to serve... not lead a ministry this time, but just serve, painting, gluing, scrubbing, smiling, greeting. It has been a welcome change of pace. Enjoy your last day tomorrow!
